Desert Ridge Hub – Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines help keep our neighborhoods safe, respectful, and enjoyable. By using the Desert Ridge Hub, you agree to follow these rules.

1. Treat Everyone With Respect

• Be kind and courteous in all interactions.
• No bullying, harassment, or personal attacks.
• No hate speech, discrimination, or targeted insults.

2. Protect Privacy

• Do not share someone else’s personal information without permission.
• No posting of private emails, phone numbers, or home addresses.
• Do not record or screenshot private conversations or group meetings without consent.

3. No Spam or Unapproved Advertising

• Businesses appear in the directory through approved listings.
• Residents should not post repeated ads, MLM promotions, or unrelated sales pitches.
• Group hosts may set additional promotional rules for their groups.

4. Safety & Appropriate Behavior

• No threats, illegal activity, or fraudulent behavior.
• No impersonating other residents or businesses.
• Report suspicious accounts or activity through the Report a Concern page.

5. Keep It Local & Helpful

• Focus on local topics, community needs, and neighborhood support.
• Keep posts family-friendly and respectful of all age groups.

6. Respect Group Spaces

Individual groups (e.g., AA groups, mountain meetups, mom groups) may have their own rules.

• Follow the rules set by group organizers.
• Stay on-topic during meetings and discussions.
• Do not disrupt, derail, or hijack conversations.

7. Moderation & Enforcement

Desert Ridge Hub, managed by DatAdvisors, may take action if these guidelines are violated, including:

• Removing posts or comments.
• Restricting or suspending accounts.
• Removing businesses or declining listings.

Our goal is not to punish, but to keep the hub safe, useful, and welcoming for everyone.
